Radovan Kraguly, is an artist of international reputation who has
exhibited widely throughout Europe and now lives and works in Wales and
Paris. (click here for brief biography) The underlying theme of Kraguly's work is one of man's subjugation of nature, and its subsequent processing to our own ends. Since his first visit to Wales in the 1970s much of his work has addressed intensive livestock farming, particularly meat and milk production. (click here for information on the work) In 2003, Kraguly was granted an award by the Arts Council of Wales to work with curator Clive Adams to establish the likely content, budget and timetable of a major international touring exhibition and educational programme which would explore the important social and agricultural issues raised by the artist's work.
